Glen J Player is the writer, performer and presenter of
The Impossibly Awesome Glen in Kingdom Come

He has an MA (Research) in playwriting by cohort at QUT, 2007, but only uses his power for evil. Credits include an adaptation of Stravinsky’s The Soldier’s Tale at the Conservatorium of Music by Chamber Ensemble Collusion in 2004; being short-listed for QTC’s The Queensland Premier’s Drama Award 2004-2005 for his play 1972; a production of his one act play Pushing Uluru at Metro Arts, Brisbane, and a reading of the same play at the Brisbane Powerhouse; being short-listed for his play Surfer’s End by QTC for their The Works 2003 program; and a performance of his one man show, Living Legend in Australia!, was performed at Playlab’s Bolthole 2001.

Glen is a qualified teacher of Senior Drama but doesn’t like teenagers. He is an old bugger, drinks too much, but still gets ID’d at pubs. He has been in love at least once, but remains a dirty smutty filthy man. If you would like to know more about Glen, come and see the show. This is his first time at the Adelaide Fringe.
